Our core values at Tomorrow Health

Tomorrow Health was founded based on our personal experiences caring for family members as they made the difficult transition to home-based healthcare. We witnessed first-hand the fear and hopelessness that can come from facing the complexity of the healthcare system alone and vowed to create a company that provided patients the care that we would want for our own family members.

Delivering on Tomorrow Health’s ambitious vision to restore the home as a patient’s primary point of care requires commitment, compassion, and immense care for the audiences we serve. Informed by countless patient cases and our persistent internal effort to deliver a better healthcare experience, we developed and defined core values that captured Tomorrow Health’s patient-centered culture and encompassed our company’s promise. These values stem from our natural beliefs about what is most important to achieve our mission, serve our stakeholders, and collaborate in a way that feels truly rewarding.

Fight like hell for patients

We only win when we provide better outcomes for patients. Our passion and energy for our work stems from our personal experiences advocating for the health of those we love. We fight like hell to achieve a high standard of care, guidance, and reliability that we insist upon for our own family members.

Change the system from within

Changing the broken, archaic healthcare system requires understanding how it works paired with the drive and ability to innovate relentlessly and challenge the status quo. We are committed to creative thinking and generating solutions to drive patient impact at scale, and we believe in making and scaling our impact through partnerships. We treat each of our stakeholders — payors, physicians, and home-based care suppliers — as valued customers, and by creating value for each, we enable the greatest outcomes for patients.

Report to the goal

We understand that when the company wins, we all win. We are all stewards of the mission and strategy, and are responsible for our collective success — no task is too small and we collaborate cohesively and play whatever role is needed from us.

Be the catalyst

We don’t wait for opportunities to come to us, we create them. We anticipate the need for solutions and act with a sense of urgency. If something can be done today or tomorrow, we get it done today to tackle bigger opportunities tomorrow.

Work hard and work smart

We put in the time and effort that is merited by the trust placed in us by patients and partners. In working smart, we find the most efficient ways to acquire know-how, enabling us to accomplish things that extend beyond our prior experience.

Do more with less

We must focus on efficiency to maximize our impact, allowing us to provide value in an industry in which inflated costs have become as damaging as unreliable quality. Responsibility is given to those who prove the ability to accomplish more with the most effective use of resources.

Assume best intent

We expect and assume that our colleagues act in the best interests of the company and our mission, which enables a transparent and collaborative environment. We provide feedback directly, respectfully, and liberally, and we seek it from others to inform our learning and growth.

Aim high and dream big

We know a better system is achievable. We set ambitious goals for the company, ourselves, and our impact on patient care. This ambition is reflected in our incredibly high standards for our work product, what we expect from each other, and what we deliver to our customers.

In Practice

While some companies create values that serve as window dressing, our core values define our day-to-day actions and expectations. Every week, we acknowledge each other with shout-outs rooted in our values during Friday all-hands meetings. As part of our hiring process, we evaluate how candidates embody our values and will bring them to life through their work. By putting our core values front and center, we are creating a culture that’s built to last and supports those who contribute to it.
