Why I Joined Tomorrow Health

I’ve always believed that the best innovations start with a clear and meaningful purpose. For me, that purpose has always been solving problems that truly matter through the power of proper discovery, thoughtful design, and cutting-edge technology. Joining Tomorrow Health wasn’t just a step in my career—it feels like a culmination of everything I’ve worked toward. An opportunity to contribute to a mission that aligns with my values, leveraging my passion for innovation to create a substantial, lasting impact on people’s lives and communities.

My commitment to service started early. At 19, I embarked on a two-year journey as a missionary in Canada, where I witnessed the power of helping others. Whether it was teaching English, supporting individuals in recovery, preparing meals for those in need, or simply offering a listening ear, I began to notice how small acts of service could create meaningful change in one’s life. The experiences I had during my time as a missionary shaped my belief that true joy comes from work that positively impacts others—a belief that has guided my career, my approach to leadership, and my life in general.

Early in the days of my professional career, I worked in corporate strategy, which was intellectually rewarding but left me yearning to have a more direct and tangible impact. That search led me to healthcare—a space where the stakes are profoundly human, the challenges are complex, the stakeholders are numerous, and the opportunity to make a difference is immense. At CVS Health, I got my first taste of healthcare product management, designing tools to improve medication adherence. Witnessing how data, design, and creativity could converge to drive better health outcomes hooked me. It also deepened my conviction that technology, when used thoughtfully, can serve as a powerful force for good.

Eager to expand my healthcare domain expertise, I pursued a graduate degree at Harvard, studying the intersection of management, design, and healthcare delivery. After graduation, I returned to CVS to work on their new home dialysis startup, CVS Kidney Care. The CVS enterprise offered a unique and compelling mix of assets that could be leveraged to create step-function improvements in the health outcomes and quality of life of dialysis patients, some of the most underserved patients in our healthcare system. I was energized by the opportunity to apply my academic insights into value-based care and design thinking to help these patients. During user research, I remember getting misty-eyed as my heart broke for the patients and their many unmet needs. While we built interesting products and introduced some revolutionary concepts, the business ultimately succumbed to challenges common to large organizations and eventually closed. My desire to help patients at scale only grew stronger.

This isn’t just about leveraging technology to solve problems; it’s about doing what’s right for patients.

This conviction led me to join Truepill, where I refined my product skills during a pivotal phase of growth. Joining the team after their Series C, I was one of the early product hires at a time when Truepill was a rapidly scaling unicorn. Truepill underscored the criticality of technology in unlocking innovative care models, as concepts like Hims and Mark Cuban's Cost Plus Drugs were made possible by Truepill's thoughtfully designed APIs and pharmacy fulfillment capabilities. The company faced significant challenges, including multiple rounds of layoffs as the ZIRP era came to an end. Through this time, I was able to retain what was left of my team, and we delivered a product that reduced pharmacy fulfillment costs by roughly 50%, helped double client NPS, and bolstered patient safety and compliance, all of which helped pave the way for our subsequent acquisition by LetsGetChecked.

Following that experience, I felt confident in my ability to scale another health tech product with greater expertise and efficiency. The challenges I navigated gave me the battle scars that sharpened my skills in crafting and executing product strategies, mentoring product managers through insightful discovery processes, and aligning diverse stakeholders toward common goals. Now, at Tomorrow Health, I’m excited to apply these lessons, helping the team deliver transformative solutions that improve home-based care while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

When I discovered Tomorrow Health, I immediately felt a connection to its mission. The data speaks for itself: the Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) space is one of the most overlooked yet frustrating areas in healthcare. It’s a labyrinth of inefficiencies and delays, where patients often face agonizing waits for the equipment they need to heal, recover, or manage chronic conditions. For me, that was a call to action I simply could not ignore.

The team here at Tomorrow Health sealed the deal. From my first conversations, it was apparent that everyone is dedicated to reimagining home-based care. This isn’t just about leveraging technology to solve problems; it’s about doing what’s right for patients and transforming an ecosystem that has long been plagued by inefficiency. That passion and focus were undeniable, and I knew I wanted to be part of it.

As VP of Product, I have the privilege of working alongside an extraordinary team to make accessing home-based care as seamless as possible. We’re not just building tools; we’re creating solutions that drive meaningful results for patients, providers, and health plans alike. Whether it’s automating prior authorizations, streamlining supply chain workflows, or enhancing transparency across the care ecosystem, every innovation is designed with a singular focus: to deliver impact where it matters most—in the patient’s home.

DMEPOS is the first use case, and it’s just the beginning. The future of healthcare is shifting toward the home, and Tomorrow Health is at the forefront of that transformation. By addressing long-standing challenges in DMEPOS and home-based care, we’re improving access, efficiency, and setting a new standard for what patients and prescribers should expect. The opportunities to expand and bring more care into the home are numerous, and we are just getting started.

We’re proving that technology when paired with empathy and purpose, can make healthcare more equitable, effective, and human. This isn’t just a job for me—it’s a mission. It’s a chance to help build a healthcare system that works better for everyone, especially for those who need it most. I’m proud to be part of this incredible team and to contribute to a future where patients can heal, recover, and thrive in the comfort of their homes. Together, we’re creating a blueprint for the future of home-based care, and I couldn’t be more excited to see where this journey takes us.
