Saving documents from Epic to upload while placing DME orders is fast and easy.

Instructions:

Step 1: In EPIC, open a chart review on desired patient

Step 2: In Chart Review, go to the Notes tab

Step 3: Select the desired note by clicking on it once

Step 4: Right click on the opened note and select print

 

Step 5: You may have to select the desired note from the attachments window. If the below pops up, select the desired note and select continue

Step 6: Use the scroll bar in the Print window to slide the whole way to the left

  

Step 7: Select the option for Microsoft Print to PDF

Step 8: Select print

Step 9: You can then choose what you’d like to name the document and where you’d like to save the document. Save it to your desktop for easy access
